Gentle Warrior

– • –

I am the only Sangoma in Ireland affiliated with both the Zulu and Xhosa Tribes. The Xhosa (such as Nelson Mandela) are known as the thinkers, whereas the Zulus (such as Shaka Zulu) are known as the Warriors rearing to go into battle. By being a member of both Tribes I have the perfect marriage of both archetypes and it’s the philosophy I stand by. The Gentle Warrior is strong and resilient enough to face their fears, but in a nurturing way to live courageously through the challenges of life.

Initiated as ZaneThongo, I return home every year to live with the Tribes, to undergo ceremonies with the Ancestors and continue my learnings. This is a life-time journey I have committed to in order to help my Tribes, to help myself and to help my clients.

If you are feeling confused / foggy with low energy (stressed, depressed, anxious), going through a transition, feeling stuck, been through trauma, feeling like life is out of control or even feeling stuck then working with us could help you. We can provide the tools you need to walk through this period in your life with the options of online or face to face sessions, wisdom teachings, ceremonies, joining our Tribe and a series of online courses.

The African Proverb “it takes a village to raise a child” or “if you want to go fast, go alone; but if you want to go far, go together” couldn’t be more relevant in modern society Tribes. With all the stress and challenges in this unpredictable world, we need all the support we can get to stand together and support each other through our darker periods.
